I attended Brookfield Investor day back in September. You can find some of the clips YouTube. The last one I attended was in 2019. The business has changed a lot. It grew a lot. It also has ventured into a lot of different businesses, like reinsurance and wealth management. And there’s a lot of new people. Brookfield is also not shy about pushing the new generation of leaders, many of them leading the presentations during Investor day.

Another noticeable difference is Brookfield pushing for a more public profile, which is outside their ”persona” considering they are known for being under the radar. Below is a conversation between Bruce Flatt and Mark Carney.
